A grade 11 pupil from Eqinisweni Secondary School in Ivory Park was yesterday found in possession of the drug nyaope.

The pupil was found during a routine search by the local Community Policing Forum and Operation Stop Nyaope in the school premises. The 19-year-old pupil was not arrested. Operation Stop Nyaope chairperson Terrance Dzeli said the organisation was gravely concerned about the infiltration of nyaope in the streets. Nyaope is a powder like drug and a mixture of rat poison, heroin and anti-retroviral medications.
