At a two day conference held in Durban this week Sabcoha (South African Business Coalition on HIV) announced they would be putting forward a 5-year strategy to aid government's promotion of HIV education in the workplace. They will also assist in upgrading health care facilities near places of work making them more accessible.

According to a recent article in The New Age, Sabcoha is also putting its weight behind the partnership between KZN local government and King Goodwill Zwelithini which highlights the importance of male circumcision.

Circumcision has been emphasised as a crucial step in hindering the spread of the virus after it was proven that it reduced HIV infection amongst males by up to 60%, prompting the King to revive the age old custom of circumcision.
