Navy pushes out HIV clerk

After two years of training for a clerical job in the navy, Andisiwe Dwenga was asked to quit because she tested positive for HIV.
This is despite a Pretoria High Court ruling in 2008 that prohibited the defence force from refusing employment or promotion to HIV-positive people.
Dwenga, who worked as a clerk in Saldanha Bay, was HIV-negative when she joined the navy training programme in 2011but tested positive in November last year...read the full article
