An HIV activist who has been living with the virus for 16 years has found healing by writing about the disease.
Gay Moreme's book is called Gift of Aids, which she aims to use to teach people to accept being HIV-positive.
The 44-year-old from Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, said: "the title of my book means being positive was a gift to me as it made me stronger and taught me to think positively.
"If I hadn't gone for the test back in 1996, I could be dead by now. To me, this was a wake-up call."...read the full article
